So say the Xain country has three cities and the capital, the other three cities would be allies and other HQs would be able to attack them? I'm saying that if the Xain country has 3 cities and a capital, either other Countries would attack them, OR two of the Xain cities will gang up on one of the other ones and try to gain more power for their mayor or lord. they would still be a country, but they might fight with each other to change who's where in the command chain of said country. Okay I get it now. So basically we have players as Lords of the cities trying to gain power over their neighbors and gain favor of the king/emperor's favor.

I was trying to base Del'Jor off vikings and the Nordic area/time period. But I do see the need for diversity, how about we add a turtle or Komodo dragon and maybe a Falcon? (My family said to add a shark) Sorry I was thinking of lore. I think it sounds good. I've read a book series with wereboars and other animals, but none of them have special powers. Maybe for Boar they could be able to charge at something at high speeds, like a human/wereboar cannonball?
MAybe weapons and stuff like clothing just disappear when your in the Beast Form? Makes sense, I definetely see that in the choices. Komodo Dragon and Falcon are good. a Dire Dragon (Beast form of Komodo Dragon) can have Fire breath personally, Falcon can get up to speeds of 200 Mph without high altitudes sounds good. I would say shark, as it fits the group you're imersonating, but it has the same problem as the snake. as for the Boar, that sounds good. It sounds good, yes but what's the answer? Do you choose or not? (I'm talking more about people who learn they magic during the RP, rather than start with it, as people who start with it will get to pick just because it's probably important to their character's personality/style of fighting/backstory.) Yeah, when in Beast Form is dissapears, in Halfman form it grows/shrinks or whatever with you. The Dire Dragons could have wings along with the fire breath, their flight isn't as strong or as fast as the Dire Falcons. Does the sound good? Yeah I noticed that snakes and sharks would have a disadvantage on land in halfman form. (Wereduck/other aquatic bird ?)
Oh okay, I'd say yes. maybe we could set it up that the more you train on the magic the more you can change?
Sounds good.

sounds good, their flight is a more believable speed (30 or 40 MPH or soemthing.) And as for a Wereduck, probably don't really need it. the more control over what you change. For instance, after you trained with magic long enough, you could make it so you only has a Bear's legs rather than a whole halfman, or you could have everything except the tail, maybe. Awesome.

I agree with you on that. I'll ad it in.
I'll post the revised rules for you and Rule to read then.

RuleJJ mythmaster1Take a look at the rules for the Shapeshifting.
Del’Jorain Shapeshifters:
The Way it Works:
Choose one of these animals: Bear, Wolf, Wolverine, Fox, Dragon, Falcon and Boar.
*You can have one, and learn another. Limit of two, choose wisely*
You have three forms: Normal, Halfman, Beast.
Normal: Just like you described your character in the bio, but with heightened senses based off the animal you’ve chosen.
Halfman: Your character halfway into the transformation. E.G. “Boomer’s body changes so that it has a wolf’s head, claws, tail, senses, endurance and strength.” Like a classic storybook werewolf. The special power of your Beast form is less powerful.
Beast: A dire form of the animal you’ve chosen. E.G. “Boomer changes completely into a wolf the size of a small horse.” Like a Direwolf. You also have a special ability for each Beast form.
Dire Bear: You have fur and skin like armor.
Dire Wolf: You can turn incorporeal.
Dire Wolverine: You are immune to most poison and diseases.
Dire Fox: You can blend into anything and not be seen.
Dire Dragon: You can breathe fire and fly.
Dire Falcon: You can fly at high speeds at low altitudes, you can also see better and farther away.
Dire Boar: You can charge at high speeds at something, like a cannon ball.
*To learn this magic, it takes 20% a day, unless the character’s magic is chosen as this it is 30% a day. *

I'm not sure about dragons. It seems a bit OP. Maybe replace it with an otter that can swim extremely well and breathe underwater for a long time?

Otters sound good. Before you get rid of the Dragon, I think I should mention to RuleJJ that it's a Komodo Dragon, which we more or less just shortened the name to Dragon. The addition of the otter could work though. So the dragon's size would only be that of a wolf or less, and of course it's flames won't be extremely long range attacks, more like a spear throw away kind of a thing. (and, in the description of what animals you can choose, naming it Komodo Dragon would probably be best.)

I'm not sure about dragons. It seems a bit OP. Maybe replace it with an otter that can swim extremely well and breathe underwater for a long time? While I already kind of responded to this, I just thought of some other points: While a real Dire Dragon would indeed be OP, the Komodo Dragon form we have isn't actually the most powerful. Imagine a larger Elephant with claws and skin like armor (A Dire bear would be actually LARGER than an elephant most likely). Imagine a horse-sized wolf that can jump through walls. The Dire Fox can be invisible more or less, making it a deadly Ninja creature. The way the Dire Boar is portrayed, it sounds like he could just run through a Siege Tower, bringing down some of it's internal supports. Normal Wolverines and their cousins (badgers) are able to take on several opponents that are larger than themselves succesfully. And if you're thinking that just means some of the others need to be buffed, not true. Their are only two others: The Dire Falcon, which would be more of a travel creature, in addition to scouting, and unless you increase it's size more than you should, it's not going to be effective in battle anyway. As for the Dire Dragon, is still has Fire Breath which is powerful enough that, in addition to wings and a Komodo's strong tail to make it close to, if not an equally efficient creature in battle. OH, and Boomer, looking back on this, I actually have a question: what do you mean by 'Unless the Character's Magic is chosen as this'? Do you mean if they already have a form?

Sure, what do you want to know/talk about? The only substantial changes I made were to the NPCs: The maximum number of NPCs a country (HQ) can have at any time is equal to 200 plus 40 times the number of active members (cities) in the HQ. (in an HQ with three members, 200 +(40*3)=200+120=320) The number of days it takes to train any given number of NPCs is equal to the number of NPCs divided by twenty times the number of active members, rounded to the nearest whole number. (320 NPCs, 3 members, 3*20=60, 320/60=5.33, 5.33=5) NPCs must be trained before they can be used in battle. An independent city can have 40 NPCs; a character without an HQ can have 10 NPCs. I just want to make sure I interpreted it right. As for the races, I want some clarification on what they are. Humans live there, obviously, and I think you mentioned fairies and gnomes at one point. The rest of the Castle RP races I wouldn't think are common there, but since you had them listed as options in the Rules I wanted to ask about it.
