If you would like to see the rules this RP will be based of, please go to this article. Castle RP FAC/Rules/Voting Topic
Rules Part One
General
- No currency/resources.
- Play fairly. Do not do anything overpowered or use advanced weapons.
- If your character is smashed, you can return after two days.
- You do not need to join an HQ.
- Multiple characters are allowed, but they should not come into direct conflict with one another.
- Mounts are allowed, of any kind (within reason and canon).
- Characters may be Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Ogre, Naga or Goblins. If you want something else, ask here first.
- Build at your own pace, up to 35% per post. Number of posts should depend on complexity of project and number of people involved.
NPCs
The maximum number of NPCs a country (HQ) can have at any time is equal to 200 plus 40 times the number of active members (cities) in the HQ. (in an HQ with three members, 200 +(40*3)=200+120=320)
The number of days it takes to train any given number of NPCs is equal to the number of NPCs divided by twenty times the number of active members, rounded to the nearest whole number. (320 NPCs, 3 members, 3*20=60, 320/60=5.33, 5.33=5)
NPCs must be trained before they can be used in battle.
An independent city can have 40 NPCs; a character without an HQ can have 10 NPCs.
Classes
When making a character, choose one (or two) of the following classes based on said character’s general abilities.
-Knight- Strong, tough, warrior
-Archer- Ranged fighter with keen aim
-Rogue- Sneaky, quick, possibly a ninja or thief
-Herbalist- Knowledgeable of plants and medicinal lore, able to heal individuals
-Wizard- Magic user, will be discussed in detail in later posts
Training additional Classes: Additional classes may be trained at 20% per post. The post may include nothing else. Players may have no more than four classes
HQs and Politics
Each country will have multiple cities, Players may be a Lord or Lady in charge of a city.
You may attack, defend, make alliances and fight for power. The GM will be in charge of the country unless they decide to pass the responsibility to a player.

Rules Part Two
The Magic SystemsYou may choose one of these magics for your “Wizard” class character. Del’Jorain Shapeshifters: The Way It Works:Choose one of these animals: Bear, Wolf, Wolverine, Fox, (Komodo) Dragon, Otter, Falcon and Boar. *You can have one, and learn another. Limit of two, choose wisely* You have three forms: Normal, Halfman, Beast. Normal: Just like you described your character in the bio, but with heightened senses based off the animal you’ve chosen. Half-man: Your character halfway into the transformation. E.G. “Boomer’s body changes so that it has a wolf’s head, claws, tail, senses, endurance and strength.” Like a classic storybook werewolf. The special power of your Beast form is less powerful. Beast: A dire form of the animal you’ve chosen. E.G. “Boomer changes completely into a wolf the size of a small horse.” Like a Direwolf. You also have a special ability for each Beast form. - Dire Bear: You have fur and skin like armor.
- Dire Wolf: You can turn incorporeal.
- Dire Wolverine: You are immune to most poison and dieses.
- Dire Fox: You can blend into anything and not be seen.
- Dire (Komodo) Dragon: You can breathe fire and have tiny wings (useless for flying).
- Dire Falcon: You can fly at high speeds at low altitudes, you can also see better and farther away.
- Dire Boar: You can charge at high speeds at something, like a cannon ball.
- Dire Otter: You can breathe underwater indefinitely.
*To learn this magic, it takes 20% a day, unless the character’s magic is chosen as this; to train a second beast (max. of two) it is 10% per day.*
Xain Element Crafting:
The Way It Works: Choose two of these elements: Fire, Earth, Water, Air, Metal. (To learn the magic, it’s 20% a day) You may learn more elements later if you so choose. (At a rate of 10% per day)
Abilities: Fire (Knight Ignis): You can create fire, control existing fire, effect temperature and {Extra Ability} impact the emotions into others. (E, G: Boomer sends fear into the enemy troops, sending them running away in panic. Or. Boomer sends courage in to the troops he’s leading, filling them with bravado and the will to fight.) Earth (Knight Terra): You can control earth (dirt/sand) and stone. {Extra Ability} You can also barrow strength from the earth (Basically super-strength). (E, G: Boomer makes a wall of stone to block a fire attack.) Air (Knight Caeli): You can control the winds, fly through the sky and refract light. {Extra Ability} You can move as fast as the winds. Water (Knight Pisces): You can control all things water (Excluding other players and NPCs). E, G: A river, an ocean (In small amounts), snow, ice, drinks, soups, fog and the rain. {Extra Ability} You can sense other people and heal wounds. Metal (Knight Ferris): You can control all things metallic (preferably iron or steal), you can sense it, basically see it in your mind. Metal Benders are generally better at forging, weapon-craft and {Extra Ability} from drawing upon the coldness of metal you can ignore pain, hunger or temperature. Storm (Knight Ira): You can control and make lightning and weather (Rain, snow, hail, tornadoes, etc.). {Extra Ability} You have a mind reading power akin to Legilimency from Harry Potter.
Daltune Beast Summoning:
The Way It Works: You choose anywhere from 1 to 6 of the following Beast families (you also have 6 slots) to fill up your slots. Please note that Beast fill slots equal to their Level.
Level One: Mundane (Weak) -Avian (flying insects, smaller birds) -Aquatic (smaller fish, weaker water animals) -Terrestrial (smaller mammals, reptiles, and insects)
Level Two: Mundane (Strong) -Avian (larger birds, mostly birds of prey) -Aquatic (larger fish, sharks, larger sea life) -Terrestrial (larger mammals and reptiles)
Level Three: Mythical -Avian (flying mythical creatures like rocs, thunderbirds, pheonixes, griffins) -Aquatic (underwater mythical creatures like kraken, kappa, kelpies) -Terrestrial (land-dwelling mythical creatures like chimera, giants, manticore, gorgons, werewolves)
Level Four: Draconic -Avian (flying dragons like wyverns, Chinese dragons, European dragons) -Aquatic (water-dwelling dragons like sea serpents, hydra, Chinese dragons) -Terrestrial (earthbound dragons like European dragons, wyrms, hydra)
Level Five: Planewalker This class is unattainable as it contains creatures that are uncontrollable, unstable, evil or godlike.

Rules Part One
General
No currency/resources Play fairly. Do not do anything overpowered or use advanced weapons. If your character is "out", you can return after two days. You do not need to join an HQ. Instead you can go to the Mercenary Village. Multiple characters are allowed, but they should not come into direct conflict with one another. Mounts are allowed, of any kind. Characters may be humans, elves, dwarves, orcs, or goblins. If you want something else, ask here first. Build at your own pace, up to 35% per post. NPCs
The maximum number of NPCs an HQ can have at any time is equal to 50 plus 25 times the number of active members in the HQ. (in an HQ with three members, 50 +(25*3)=50+75=125) NPCs must be trained before they can be used in battle. The number of days it takes to train any given number of NPCs is equal to the number of NPCs divided by ten times the number of active members, rounded to the nearest whole number.(125 NPCs, 3 members, 3*10=30, 125/30=4.17, 4.17=4) Classes
When making a character, choose one (or two) of the following classes based on said character’s general abilities. Knight- strong, tough, warrior Archer- ranged fighter with keen aim Rogue- sneaky, quick, possibly a ninja or thief Herbist- knowledgeable of plants, able to heal individuals Wizard- magic user, will be discussed in detail in Part Two Training additional Classes: Additional Classes (up to four) may be trained at 20% per post. The post may include nothing else. Um, couple questions, all dealing with the fact that this is a Different RP from the Castle RP. First, Mercenary Village thing. Is that still going to be a thing? I mean, sure make Mercenary characters, but should we have a designated village for it? Second, the races. We have added Minotaur and Trolls (not sure if you want Kriatoma over here, but that's another thing at the Castle RP)4 Third, NPC numbers. If a Kingdom has 200 or so soldiers, then a city should not (which I believe is what you are planning for here.). while the system itself works, I would say that each city gets 40 soldiers, plus 10 for each person. Also, unless the person wants their character to be, I feel you should be prepared to have governors for each city. Other than that, looks fine.

Obviously, I'm not Boomer, but hopefully he'll do something to address this, at least no that he's seen it, as a lot of it isn't the same. And as for your second question, you do technically need special permission for a troll, minotaur, or Kriatoma character (or giant, for that matter).

Oh.......Thanks Myth I forgot to check my post, I have a lot of notes but there scattered around my math homework. I meant to edit the original rules before I posted this, but I was rushed to get ready to go out. I'll repost the rules after I edit them. I'm making some governor NPC characters I can control if need be.
I must of missed this, but whats a Kriatoma?

I'll have the first half mostly done, the rules Rule posted are good for this RP so I'm not changing much for that. I did add your comment on how a kingdom should have more soldiers than a city or RPC.

Hey, Rule.
Would you mind helping me with my magic systems? Sure. What kind of help do you need? I've decided that only three of the countries will use magic systems (Del'Jor, Xain and Daltune). With a kind of were-animal magic for Del'Jor, the element bending for Xain and a magical beast summoning for Daltune.
I have going to post what I had on them and ask for you're and Myth's thoughts.
