We have had many users ask us how to become a part of the Legoians of Olde staff team. We're very excited that so many people want to help us out, and now, we're excited to announce just how you can help! We have created an application and interview process to bring in new team members. To apply to join our staff, please first select a team below you would like to apply to, then send the proper application in a PM to every administrator. Your application will never be shared outside of the administrative team.
Once you have sent us your application, we will review it as a team. You will be notified within a week whether you have advanced to the interview phase. Please understand that rejecting an application does not say anything about you as a user; it just means that we don't have a place for you right now on our staff team.
We have 2 teams running these boards: a Moderation Team and a Design Team.
The Moderation Team does exactly what you'd think: moderate posts. They check through every post before it becomes public to ensure it's all appropriate for these boards. We need users to fill this position who are quick readers and don't mind seeing an inappropriate post every now and then.
The Design Team works behind the scenes, modifying how the site looks and behaves. We need artists who can contribute relevant art and programmers who are proficient in HTML (and, preferably, JavaScript) for this position. You don't have to be good at both; you only need to be able to contribute and work together effectively.
Moderation Team Application
1: What is your current age?
2: In which time zone do you currently reside?
3: How many hours, on average, would you be available each day to moderate?
4: Which days are you available to moderate?
5: Please explain to the administrative team why we should choose you to be a moderator.
6: Tell us more about yourself! Go on, stick your tongue out of your mouth a little , show your personality!
Design Team Application
1: Are you applying as a site artist or programmer?
2: What is your current age?
3: In which time zone do you currently reside?
4: (Programmers Only) How many hours per week would you be available to work on our site?
5: (Programmers Only) How long have you been working with HTML and/or JavaScript?
6: Please direct us to a web page showcasing some examples of your work.
7: Please describe for the administrative team why you would be a good choice to work on our site.
8: Tell us more about yourself! Go on, stick your tongue out of your mouth a little , show your personality!
Good luck!
